Adria is a Consultant for Race and Equality in Madrid, Spain.
Before joining our team, Adria worked in Proyform Global as project coordinator.
She worked in Cuba for the NGO OXFAM in the Latin America and the Caribbean Program with The project of Community Participation and Citizen Commitment for the Integral Management of Urban Solid Waste in the municipality of Micro X, in conjunction with the Alamar Este Neighborhood Transformation Workshop. She has participated in several urban research groups, covering topics of sociology, race, and feminism, with a focus on citizen participation and land use planning. She has been a participant in the Annual Assembly of the International Network for Urban Research and Action, and has lived in Cuba, Chile and Spain.
She has contributed to several programs for the Integral Law Against Gender Violence in Cuba, and collaborated with several Cuban platforms, such as Justicia 11J, The Gender Observatory of Alas Tensas and Diario de Cuba. She is currently working to strengthen the capacities of Cuban exile civil society.
She studied Architecture and Urbanism at the Technological University of Havana, and has a background in Spanish-American Literature.
