David coordinates the Latin American Human Rights Consortium, an initiative that brings together Race and Equality with two other international organizations to strengthen human rights in the region. In his role, he promotes a unified approach to programming, coordinates partner relationships, provides strategic advice, and promotes initiatives to strengthen partner capacity.
David previously served as Director of Security and Justice for the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) in Ecuador and as a Specialist for the Department for Electoral Cooperation and Observation at the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C. David also has served as a Consultant for the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and as a researcher at the Latin American School of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Santiago, Chile.
David holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, as well as a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies, with a double concentration in Government and Political Economy from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in the United States.
