Haydée Paixão

Haydée Paixão is an Advocacy Officer based in Brasilia, working on political advocacy with strategic actors in the legislative, executive, and judiciary. She assists in actions and planning to advance public policies and human rights agendas at national, regional, and international levels. She works in collaboration with our civil society partners and carries out joint actions with embassies, representatives of governments and international civil society.

Haydée has been working on human rights and political advocacy in Brazil for ten years, providing legal and educational advice. She speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish fluently and studies French and Arabic.

She has a master’s in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo, a post-graduate in Systemic Law from Verbo Jurídico, specialized in Afro-Latin American and Caribbean studies by CLACSO, a degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo.
