Mariana works with human rights defenders in the region, managing programs to strengthen activists, journalists, dissidents, and civil society through by developing different trainings, research, and other activities.
Previously Mariana worked as a program manager in a human rights NGO and as a research assistant in a think tank based in Washington, D.C. While in Mexico City, she used to work as a program manager in an educational nonprofit and other private sector companies.
Mariana received her International Business and Management degree and her graduate degree in Engineering and Project Management from Universidad Panamericana – Mexico campus.
